It seems bullet hits only start to register in the very center when the cone starts to contract, even then it's a nightmare to keep it dead center on target more than 15 M away. So we have to fire and wait till it contracts to get maybe 3-5 second...

I think i heard there's a mechsuit coming out , but i'm not sure. It sounds like you want Battlefield vehicle diversity, but this is CCP, not DICE we are talking about, could be literally years before we see anything like these suggestions showing...
